Well we had what I hope is our last appointment today. I scheduled one for next week, just in case! But I'd really appreciate if we could cancel that! ;) I am now 1 cm dialated. Dr. Martins said that we're making progress, but not as much as I had hoped for. I'm beginning to think you don't want to come out....just kidding! I've developed what they told me is a "pregnancy" rash....and I am very itchy. I don't know what it comes from other than just being pregnant...but they assured me it will go away once your born. Well I should get back to work. It's the day before Thanksgiving & I'm having a hard time staying motivated. I'm too excited for the Turkey Dinner we're going to have tomorrow at Grandma Splain's House! Once again...see ya soon & love you!

We had another appointment today & they said things are happening. I'm not quite a cm dilated, but at least something's happening. Dr. Repke said that he's seen people w/ an exam like that & they come in 6 hours later in labor & than he's seen people dialated 3 cm & they go 3 more weeks! So I guess we'll just wait & see. Other than that your heartbeat was good. You are moving around like crazy today. I think it's cause your anxious to get out here & meet everyone. ;-) Dr. Repke said that he'll be surprised if he see's me in 2 weeks..... Next week our appointment is w/ Dr. Martins because Thursday is Thanksgiving and Dr. Repke won't be in. Well I'll see you soon. Love ya!

We had another appointment today & everything looks good. Your heartbeat sounded good and your still still measuring a little big, but Dr. Truong said that was ok....since we had the ultrasound last week. Dr. Repke was out so that's why we seen Dr. Truong. She was really nice. The didn't check anything else, because I really haven't been having any contractions. A couple Braxton Hick's but that doesn't count! ;) Next week we'll be seeing Dr. Repke again. Now you have to hold out until at least November 19th so Grandma Rosa is out of the hospital. She goes in on 11/13 & will be in for 5 days....so unless you come before Monday try to wait for Grandma.

Also today the girls had a shower for me at work. It was so cool. I was so surprised. Tracy was ready to kill me though because I was making very hard for them to be sneaky, but they pulled it off and it was great. Kristie & Jamie made a diaper cake..I'll have to post a picture of it. We got some blankets, diapers, books & a teether also. Oh and they got us a gift card for Babies 'r us so we'll be shopping this weekend I'm sure. ;-)

You had another photo-shoot today!! You did a very good job of keeping your gender concealed, not even the tech could tell if you are a boy or girl. She said you were sitting indian style w/ your legs closed tight! Not that we would have found out anyway because we still want to be surprised. As far as the ultrasound they said that everything looks good. We had Jeanne again & she said that you weigh about 6lbs 8 oz....give or take 15 oz. So you will probably be between 8-9 lbs if you wait the 3 1/2 weeks to arrive. Which like I said before...we're ready for you ANY time!! Your Grandma Rosa & Grandma Mummau have been really wanting to go to an ultrasound so today because daddy couldn't make it they were able to go. It was really hard to make anything out because your so big & crammed in there, but I'm pretty sure that they had a great time watching you squirm around...even if they weren't sure what was squirming! We all went & seen Dr. Repke than. He was very happy with the results of the ultrasound. He was worried if you were too big than mommy would have to have a c-section or they would have to induce. He said that you are measuring average & that in this case average was very good. He listened to your heartbeat & measured mommy's belly again. We have another appointment next Thursday with a different Dr. because Dr. Repke will be on vacation. Dr. Repke was pretty sure that he'll still be seeing me again before you arrive....that will be 11/15....he isn't going to make any predictions though. He says he's been in the business too long to say your arrival won't be before than. You'll come when your ready....and no one can force you to come any sooner. Although if you come before the next appointment..I'll owe you one when you get here. ;-) Love you and see you soon!
