Today was the "BIG" ultrasound. I say "BIG" because today was the one and only time prior to your birth that we could find out if you were a girl or a boy. The appointment was scheduled for 10:00 am. Your daddy was late...but only because he's such a hard worker. He went into work Wednesday at 12 midnight and worked straight through til 10 am Thursday morning! So he had been up for 34 hours just so he could see your beautiful face on the ultrasound. That's how much he loves you already. Your daddy is an amazing person. You'll learn that very quickly. So anyway.....The appointment took about 45 minutes & we managed to make it through the whole appointment without finding out if you were a boy or girl! It was hard though. I was having a real problem w/ Jeanne(the ultrasound tech, she was extremely nice, she did your u/s on the 5/22 also)knowing what you were when your daddy & I didn't. But, I know it's going to be worth it in the long run!! Daddy was the one that made the final decision...I was too weak!;) Here's one of your pictures from the ultrasound:



They said you weigh about 11oz. And mommy has gained 4lbs. Although Dr. Repke told me the weight gain will now begin! The good news is they said you looked perfect(which daddy & I already knew)!
